Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada All Inclusive Resort is the premiere family vacation resort in Puerto Playa, Dominican Republic. Guests are able to enjoy the unlimited dining pleasures of four restaurants, live entertainment nightly, Caribbean dance classes, windsurfing, snorkeling and a host of other activities. Children are able to participate in organized activities provided by the professional staff at the resort's Kid's Club. The resort has 204 Superior guest rooms and Jr. Suites and each is located very close to the beach. The rooms all have island-inspired decorative accents and provide a balcony or terrace.

The resort is located on the northern coast in a private community. Guests are able to use the exclusive 18 hole Playa Dorada Golf Club Course and shop at the unique shops, enjoy the pleasures of the outside bars and if you feel lucky, visit the casinos.

There are excursions available to such destinations as the Dominican Amber Museum, the Brugal Rum Factory and Mount Isabel del Torres. Horseback riding, biking and scuba diving are also available.

Children up to 2 years stay free with parents. Children 3 to 17 years are charged a fee of $20.00 per night.
Adult guests staying during New Year's Eve Gala (December 31, 2009) are required to pay $50.00 supplement and children $25.00.
